Sinopse: This guide is the result of a project sponsored by the US Government. This guide was developed for the US Government under contract by Booz·Allen and Hamilton, Inc. The project grew out of a concern shared by senior leadership and security professionals within the Intelligence Community that the security risk management process needed to be more clearly defined. The purpose was to establish a process for security specialists and their customers to understand risk management concepts and accomplish risk management tasks in a more efficient and effective manner.
The concept for this guide was developed after a thorough review was conducted on existing views and current approaches to security risk management. Security professionals from both government and industry were interviewed to identify what worked, and what didn’t work, with respect to risk assessment techniques.
