The Interagency Security Committee (ISC), chaired by DHS and consisting of 56 Federal departments and agencies, has as its mission the development of security standards best practices, and guidelines for nonmilitary Federal facilities in the United States.<br \/>\nAs Acting Executive Director of the ISC, I am pleased to introduce Best Practices for Planning and Managing Physical Security Resources: An Interagency Security Committee Guide.
