The purpose of the research was to support the development of a research agenda on organisational resilience and therefore the research approach was designed to raise questions rather than provide definitive answers regarding CEO perspectives on organisational resilience (OR). Sample organisations ranged in size, ownership structure and purpose (a list of participating organisations is provided at page 27).
